Financial and public affairs agency Ludgate Communications has lost

senior director Chris Lynch to financial PR agency Square Mile.

Lynch is the latest in a long line of senior staff to leave Ludgate as

it prepares to merge with fellow Allied Communications Group agency

Golin/Harris.

A date has not yet been announced, but Lynch is set to join Square Mile

as a director in the near future.

Reporting to Square Mile’s managing director Tim Jackaman, Lynch will be

part of a three-strong team, including fellow ex-Ludgate directors Peter

Simpson and Tony Garrett (PR Week, 2 June).

Lynch’s announcement comes in the wake of the departure of directors Tim

Davis and Vanessa Anderson.

Davis left Ludgate after ten years to join stockbroking business Teather

and Greenwood as director of corporate affairs. Davis has been replaced

by Julia Burge, currently a director at Burson-Marsteller.

Anderson, deputy head of Ludgate’s financial division left to join City

PR firm Merlin Financial as a director.
