The festival will take place across London from 16 to 19 June. House PR has been appointed to manage the media for the event for a second year running, following a competitive pitch.
The account will be led at House PR by board director Krissy Knights, who said: ‘We’re looking forward to getting close to this year’s chefs, delivering creative media ideas and working alongside sponsors and media partners as an extension of the in-house Brand Events team.’
The campaign brief is to generate awareness, drive ticket sales, support sponsor activity and tie in with the Taste of London marketing activity for 2011.
House PR will implement an innovative five-month campaign using creative ideas and content from the show to secure coverage in the national press, specialist food and drink media, and online channels.
In 2011 there will be 14 Taste Festivals across the world, all based on the flagship event, Taste of London.
