The Guardian is planning to launch media and public sector sites
over the next few months. The new sites will be part of a drive to
capitalise on the printed Guardian’s strengths. They may not come under
its existing on-line brand, Guardian Unlimited, a spokeswoman said.
Editors for these sections have not yet been appointed. Associate editor
Colin Hughes has already moved over to develop an electronic education
section (PR Week, 7 April).
