For a Skype campaign, Britton recruited Australian blogger Rebecca Campbell to spend 33 days travelling the world, and updating details of her journey on YouTube and Flickr.

Career path

Britton joined Albion as planning director in 2006. He previously worked at British Airways, where he helped launched ba.com, and spent six years at Interbrand in brand consultancy roles. He also founded Innocence, a branding agency within Omnicom.

Within months of Tait joining W+K, the agency stepped up the social media element of its 'the man your man could smell like' Old Spice campaign. This featured 200 personalised responses from Old Spice TV advertising actor Isaiah Mustafa to messages through YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.

Career path

Tait joined W+K's Oregon base in April last year from UK digital agency Poke, which he co-founded in December 2001. He previously handled business development at Oven Digital and was director of product development at First Tuesday.

For Compare The Market, Torode oversaw social media work for its Compare The Meerkat campaign. This gave the campaign's meerkat character Aleksandr Orlov an online presence on Twitter and Facebook. As PRWeek was going to press, Orlov had 769,088 Facebook friends.

Career path

Torode joined WPP in 2000, working in New York as a digital partner at Ogilvy One and senior planner at Berlin Cameron/Red Cell. She returned to London in 2003 as strategy director at Naked Communications before joining VCCP in 2007.
