- What is it good for?
Lutyens is located in the former Reuters building on Fleet Street. It lends itself well to lunch meetings with journalists, clients and colleagues. It's reasonably priced but both the service and quality of the food are superb.
- Signature dish
A fantastic two-course fixed lunch menu that can be enjoyed in the bar area, which changes daily. My favourites are Clare Island smoked salmon and soda bread, followed by rib-eye steak with a bearnaise sauce. Alternatively, it has a restaurant for the more formal lunch meeting - try the duck confit.
- Who's the boss?
Graham Williams is the general manager.
- Tips please
Have a cocktail - I can't say no to the Apricot Bellini.
- What's the damage?
A two-course lunch will set you back £17.50 in the bar and £30 in the restaurant. The restaurant has started offering a three-course meal with half a bottle of wine, water, coffee and petit fours for only £39.50 from 6-10pm.
