Opinion: Letters of the week - Customer service and comms functions need to be combined

I was delighted to read that a couple of progressive businesses have grouped PR and HR together (PRWeek, 18 February).

As a PRO I have seen thousands of pounds worth of effort destroyed by poor customer service and opportunities lost by companies not communicating their corporate brand back to their best ambassador: their own staff. Collaboration must be welcomed with open arms.
