Rémy Martin turns to House PR after three-way pitch

French cognac house Rémy Martin has appointed House PR as its consumer agency in the UK, following a competitive three-way pitch.

The retained brief includes both the Rémy Martin VSOP and Coeur de Cognac brands.

First Drinks Brands marketing controller James Stocker said: ‘House PR will perfectly complement our marketing strategy with their great creativity and proven track record. Their extensive experience in the food and drink industry makes them best-placed to achieve our brand objectives.’

House PR will implement a number of campaigns for both cognacs, designed to reach new audiences and ‘contemporise the brands’. Forthcoming activities will include consumer sampling and media relations activities.

This marks the agency’s fifth new business win from First Drinks Brands, distributors of Rémy Martin Fine Champagne Cognacs in the UK.

House PR’s current portfolio also includes Italian liqueur Disaronno, Sailor Jerry Spiced rum and French liqueur Cointreau.

The account will be led at House PR by associate director Liana Mellotte.
