The campaign will target black and ethnic minority media, highlighting stories from individuals working behind the scenes in ‘diaspora organisations’ supported by the charity’s Common Ground Initiative, and those whose lives have been improved by the projects.

Rich Visions MD Mavis Amankwah said: ‘This campaign will demonstrate some of the life-changing projects and programmes which make a real difference to so many lives.’

The organisations that will be featured work across Sub-Saharan Africa, for projects ranging from campaigns against ‘bride price’ and promoting gender equality, to increasing opportunities for disadvantaged children to access primary education.

The Common Ground Initiative supports the work of small and diaspora organisations involved in international development in Africa.
