Hill and Knowlton London is losing another two board directors,

following on from the resignations of three directors earlier this year

(PR Week, 25 February). The latest departures are Dan Holliday, board

director, H&K youth marketing; and Lucy Blencowe, board director, brands

marketing. Replacements have not yet been confirmed.

Holliday plans to start a new agency when he leaves at the end of

May.

He joined H&K over four years ago, and has been responsible for

developing the youth marketing division. His clients include Adidas and

Motorola Europe.

Paul Taaffe, chairman of Hill and Knowlton International said Holliday’s

departure may result in a shift in structure of the youth marketing

division.

’Every option is being explored, and nothing has been ruled out,’ he

said.

Blencowe leaves in June. She is emigrating to Argentina for personal

reasons, and will look at the possibility of taking a position in H&K’s

Buenos Aires office. She joined H&K six years ago, and has remained in

the same division ever since, where she heads the B&Q and Spanish

retailer Aldiasa accounts.

Regarding Blencowe’s replacement, Taaffe said internal candidates were

being looked at, and an announcement would be made in the next week or

so.

gastro-oesophageal treatment which competes with best-selling drugs

Zantac and Losec.
