Opinion: Letters of the Week - My internship offers learning experience - and a good salary

I would hate for viewers of BBC2's Who Gets the Best Jobs? to think the Modus example is how the PR sector operates as a whole.

I am a graduate working in PR and advertising at Ogilvy Healthworld. I arrived with no industry experience but bucket-loads of enthusiasm and a desire to succeed. I am on an Ogilvy Fellowship scheme, whereby the firm invests in my learning, training and experience.

Every year five graduates are accepted for the scheme. We are all paid competitive salaries, which sends out the message that our work is valued and that we are important, albeit junior members of the team.
