Tim Jackaman exits PR industry; Shell recruits spokesman.

Tim Jackaman, the City PR stalwart, is leaving the industry after stepping down from Greentarget, the City agency he co-founded. Jackaman, most recently Greentarget's chairman, made his name as the co-founder of top 90s financial comms agency Square Mile Communications.

easyJet, the UK's largest airline by passenger numbers, has appointed Andrew McConnell as its corporate affairs manager, managing the budget airline's media relations and CSR across the UK. He has worked at easyJet for nearly three years on an interim basis and previously worked for Heathrow Express and Gatwick Express.

Pelham Bell Pottinger has been appointed by Business Bermuda, an organisation that works with the island's government and business community to promote Bermuda as a location for international businesses.

Hermes Fund Managers has appointed Jean Dumas as senior corporate comms officer. Dumas was previously vice president and senior press officer at Citigroup for Europe, the Middle East & Africa and has also worked agency-side at Penrose Financial (now MHP). Based in London, she will report to Asmita Kapadia, global head of corporate comms.

Gruppo Campari, the global beverage group that owns brands including Campari and Cinzano, has retained FD for a financial comms brief. MDs Ben Foster and Charlie Armitstead will lead the account.

FWD PR is to become the new sponsor of the Financial Services Forum's Asset Management special interest group from February 2010.
