PRWeek has learned that the Swiss-based multinational is undergoing a global pitch for its non-confectionery business.
While Nestle is best known for confectionery - handled in the UK by Frank PR - it also makes cereals, baby foods and coffee. According to one source, the brief is 'more than consumer' but not corporate.
As well as Frank, Nestle uses Fishburn Hedges in the UK. Nestle head of corporate media relations Robin Tickle said: 'As a rule, we do not comment on PR campaigns before they are approved.' The pitch process follows the appointment of Janet Voute as global head of public affairs.
