Tahiti Tourisme calls in Hills Balfour for UK PR, sales and marketing

Tahiti Tourisme has taken a new direction in its destination marketing strategy by reappointing Hills Balfour to handle all sales, marketing and PR for the UK.

Hills Balfour will act as an extension to the headquarters in Tahiti to ensure strategic above- and below-the-line campaigns reach the desired audiences. It is hoped this will take the destination to a new level of British consumers; entice return visits from already established advocates and significantly grow visitor numbers over the next two years.
Hills Balfour will also work closely with Tahitian hoteliers and operators to ensure clear and consistent communications of the diverse experiences available. Large global and local events will also be promoted through the strategic campaign.
Tahiti Tourisme director of operations, Karine Villa, said: 'The UK market is one which we greatly cherish and see huge potential with.
'Tahiti is a place the British dream about through those long cold grey months and we want to be able to help make those dreams become reality. This campaign will aim to educate both consumers and the travel trade on the amazing variety of experiences the destination offers and encourage visitors to choose Tahiti when they are planning their next holiday.'
