Following a five-way competitive pitch, healthcare agency Tudor Reilly will provide comms support for Lantus, the only 24-hour insulin approved exclusively for use once a day.

Meanwhile, Red Health will work on the launch of the company’s new blood glucose monitors and drive campaigns to enhance the firm’s reputation.

Christina Chalé, communications specialist at Sanofi-Aventis UK, said: ‘We are committed to remaining at the forefront of care so that people with diabetes have a real choice over their best treatment options.'
‘The key to that success is working with the best communications team, which in this case meant choosing two agencies to run our communications programme.’
Tudor Reilly’s managing director, Julie Walters, who will lead the Tudor Reilly account team, said: ‘It's a company that's shown great dedication to diabetes and it continually searches for new answers while, at the same time, delivering one of the cornerstones of today’s treatment.’
