Opinion: Quora is just another site that needs to be monitored

With regards to your article asking whether Quora is the new Twitter (Features, 28 January), I can't help but feel that this is another over-hyped social platform that won't actually gain any significant traction.

As a network it fits somewhere between Twitter and Wikipedia, but there's nothing unique about it. It merely adds to an online community manager's workload. I currently have 250 followers on Quora but know the majority from Twitter and have never engaged with it. If that doesn't speak volumes about hype and buzz, I don't know what does.
