1. Rain UK installed an aerial exhibition of Scandinavian furniture over Oxford Street on 18 January on behalf of New West End Company. The stunt was to mark a landmark summit between David Cameron and eight Nordic and Baltic PMs. Hopefully the display was deliberate and not down to poor assembly instructions ...

2. Nottingham agency Tank PR helped local restaurant The Curry Lounge organise a fundraising event, which saw six 40 Commando Royal Marines swap serving in Afghanistan for serving dinner to 90 guests. The coverage proved bittersweet for the Marines, who had pledged to buy cases of beer for their fellow commandos each time they were seen in the paper.

3. Warner Leisure Hotels has charged Seventy Seven PR with creating awareness around its 'exclusively for adults' offer. Associate director James Hoyle said the group had participated in the experiences during the pitch process. How he got on with his 'Burlesque Experience' is sadly not recorded.
