Three industry bodies have collaborated to create a taskforce to
raise awareness of the importance of research and evaluation among PR
practitioners and clients.
The PRCA, the IPR and the Association of Media Evaluation Companies
(AMEC) agreed the move at the last Proof forum on 15 May.
’One of the goals is to make widely available examples of best
practice,’ said MS&L planning director and forum member Claire
Propeller Marketing Communications MD Martin Loat will chair the
Ketchum board director Richard Houghton will represent the PRCA; the IPR
will be represented by Chris Genasi, and Nicholas Grant will participate
as AMEC chair.
