Bio-Oil hires Pegasus for consumer healthcare PR brief

Pegasus PR has been appointed to handle the consumer and healthcare professional PR for leading skincare treatment, Bio-Oil.

The retained account was won following a competitive five-way pitch and will see Pegasus handle all media relations for the brand, communicating Bio-Oil’s use in the treatment of scars, stretch marks, and multi-use skincare benefits.

Pegasus has been the retained agency for the healthcare professional PR for Bio-Oil since March 2010 and will take over the consumer account with immediate effect.

Pegasus won the consumer brief from incumbent agency Variations PR and the addition of Bio-Oil to its roster continues the agency's drive into the consumer beauty division.

The campaign, which will target both on and offline national, consumer, and parenting press, plus selected TV and radio, is set to make Bio-Oil as well known for its scar and multi-use skin benefits as it is for stretch marks.
