The agency has been briefed to increase Cobra-Puma Golf's visibility within lifestyle and sport press.
The account will initially run for one year and will use Cobra-Puma contracted golf stars, including England's Ian Poulter and US pair JB Holmes and Rickie Fowler.
Puma acquired equipment brand Cobra Golf from Acushnet Company, the golf business of Fortune Brands, in April 2010. The fusion of the brands leverages Puma Golf's footwear, apparel and accessories with Cobra's golfing equipment.

Mercieca has traditionally been recognised for trade communications, but is pushing its consumer division in 2011 and recently picked up a consumer brief for Ginsters of Cornwall, the savoury pastry brand.
