Forster has been called in by conservation charity Buglife to carry out research around the charity's brand, with a view to creating recommendations for a long-term comms strategy.

Forster won the project after a competitive tender, beating four other agencies.

Media Trust is recruiting a raft of volunteer champions from the media industry to encourage more media and comms professionals to donate their time and share their skills. Volunteer champions from the PR and journalism industries include Sunday Telegraph business editor Kamal Ahmed and Fleishman-Hillard director of digital Dean Russell.

Compassion in World Farming has launched a 'Cows Belong in Fields' campaign, in response to a TV interview in which Nocton Dairies' owner Peter Willes stated that 'cows do not belong in fields' during a discussion about his firm's proposed industrial-scale dairy in Lincolnshire.

WWF-UK has attracted two of its biggest single donations reported in response to its relaunched supporter magazine, Action. It was redesigned by comms agency Neo with the help of branding agency ASHA.

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home has appointed Debbie Chapman as its media and PR manager. She moves from her current role as senior press officer at WWF-UK on 15 February.
