2012 project calls for help

Agencies have been invited to pitch for a a youth project for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

Youth comms agency Livity is project managing the 'somewhereto' programme on behalf of the Legacy Trust UK. The programme, funded by £5m from the Legacy Trust UK, will focus on arts, culture and sports.

It aims to enable 16- to 25-year-olds across the UK to 'secure access to spaces to do the things that they love'.

Livity sent out a brief last week seeking agency support to work across all areas of the programme.

'We are looking for a PR agency that can deliver a strategy that reaches both our primary (youth and space-holder) and secondary (stakeholder) audiences so the brief is quite wide,' said a spokeswoman.

Livity will review expressions of interest and invite a shortlist of four agencies to a competitive pitch process next month. The campaign work will begin in a matter of weeks and the brief will run until the end of 2012.

Channel 4 Education is the official media partner for the programme.
