Global information services company EDS has appointed one of
eastern Europe’s largest PR agencies, Mmd, to strengthen its brand in
the Czech market (PR Week, 25 June). The campaign will focus on media
relations in the national, business and IT press. ’We have hired Mmd as
a specialist in this field to help us achieve these goals,’ said Florin
Caloianu, managing director of EDS. EDS had global revenues of over
pounds 10 billion in 1998, and its clients include the Czech army.
