The Jim Henson Company, owner of the Muppets, is looking to appoint a UK PR agency. The brief is thought to focus on both brand and consumer PR. Fees for the account are rumoured to be worth in excess of pounds 100,000.

PR. Fees for the account are rumoured to be worth in excess of pounds

100,000.



Last month German media company EM.TV bought the Jim Henson Company,

which first broadcast in 1955, in a deal worth pounds 425 million. As

well as holding rights for the Muppet Show and Muppet, the Jim Henson

Company is also behind Fraggle Rock and, more recently, Farscape.
