Former GrandMet and Ludgate PR man Neil Garnett has become a
director of the corporate communications team at Gavin Anderson.
He will report directly to Gavin Anderson chief executive Richard
Constant, and is one of three directors in the corporate PR team. His
clients will include food and dairy group Unigate and energy company
Fibrowatt.
Garnett was group PR director at food and drink giant GrandMet, but lost
the post when it merged with Guinness to form Diageo in Britain’s
biggest ever merger.
He joined Ludgate in February 1998 to head its corporate division, but
was made redundant last year when the firm dropped ten staff from the
division.
Garnett said: ’I took a bit of a breather while looking for other areas,
but I was talking to Gavin Anderson at the beginning of the year. I am
delighted to be on board.’
