STOP PRESS: WPP planning executive share scheme

WPP, parent of Hill and Knowlton and Ogilvy PR, plans to introduce a share scheme for around ten of its senior executives after September, when a similar scheme for CEO Martin Sorrell comes to an end. In 1994 Sorrell paid pounds 2 million for shares in WPP, and was allocated further stock according to performance. The new scheme could share pounds 50 million.
