Strategy and plan
SE10 enlisted actress and comedienne Helen Lederer to put together a comedy night for the charity. Comedians including Marcus Brigstocke, Ian Stone and Karen Dunbar were rounded up to perform, and music was provided by Sister Mary McArthur. Volunteers were recruited to act as hosts on the night. The PR team co-ordinated all publicity materials and press coverage.
Measurement and evaluation
The event was featured in the London Evening Standard and in major listings titles including Time Out. The story was aired on Magic FM, BBC Breakfast, BBC Radio London and Star Radio, and received coverage in the Birmingham Post and the Scottish Daily Record.
In total, 244 tickets for the event were sold, raising £4,000 for the charity.
The event helped to attract new supporters for the charity.
