Opinion: From our Readers - DH and Freuds should hang heads in shame
If the Department of Health is reporting PR successes based on AVE figures (News, 26 November) then neither it, nor the agency that agreed to provide the figures, are competent to spend any public money at all.
Campaigns such as Change4Life are indeed difficult to evaluate, but this
does not justify the use of such a ridiculous and discredited measure as
AVE, and the DH and Freuds should be thoroughly ashamed of
