Trium, Mitsubishi’s European mobile phone brand, has appointed MMK
to handle its German consumer PR. The work was awarded after an informal
pitch from three agencies. According to Ole Mueggenburg, a senior PR
consultant at MMK, the work will consist of media relations and events.
The Trium brand was announced earlier this year after Mitsubishi found
its branding was viewed as too Japanese. The first products were
launched last month with a pounds 20 million marketing campaign.
