PUBLIC SECTOR: Sheffield museum trust boosts operation
Fresh from bringing in Margot Williams as the new marketing and PR head of the Sheffield Galleries and Museums Trust, chief executive Gordon Rintoul has given the nod for further expansion. Williams is now pushing ahead with the formation of the first full PR team for the trust since it came into being last year, with the appointment of its first PR officer. The new role was created after a review of marketing and communications, which was previously handled by one person. The press officer will report to Williams and work alongside local agency Paradigm PR, retained on a short contract recently to support the museum’s PR function.
