Grange Hotels launches first PR drive to reposition brand

Grange Hotels is poised to launch its first PR campaign to position itself as a 'luxury hotel company' rather than a group of conference venues.

The company, which operates the five-star St Paul's and City hotels, has appointed public relations agency Belgrave to provide strategic communications support, as it continues to grow across the capital.

Belgrave, which is currently finalising the details of the two-year campaign, will launch communications support for future planning applications, focusing on the trade and planning press as well as national media.

Nick Dines, a director at Belgrave, told PRWeek: 'Grange Hotels is currently well known within the conference world, but we want to position is as a chain of luxury five-star hotels.'

Raj Matharu, chairman of Grange Hotels, added: 'Belgrave combines an excellent knowledge of the hotel industry with a comprehensive understanding of the issues that impact on planning applications. As we continue to grow it is clear that Belgrave can provide us with the communications support we need.'
