As part of the CIPR’s bid to expand its in-house communications and drive forward its new strategy under recently appointed chief executive Jane Wilson, Morgan will also assume responsibility for PR and marketing activities.
He said: ‘I am looking forward to the opportunity that working for the public relations profession represents. As a member of the CIPR and as a practitioner with a background in membership organisations, I hope I have a lot to offer.

‘This is a challenging time for the industry and the economic situation is affecting all sectors, but it is also a very exciting time to join the team at the CIPR and to work with a new CEO. I am looking forward to getting involved.’
As part of the CIPR’s organisational restructuring strategy, now in its final phase, a recruitment drive is also now under way for a communications assistant, PR manager and marketing manager.
