BORDER LINES: MANILA - Asian Development Bank hires Quon

The 58-member Asian Development Bank has hired Ann Quon as assistant chief of external relations. Quon, senior counsel at Ogilvy PR Hong Kong and a broadcast journalist with CNN and ATV, will take up the global role next month. She will report to Robert Salamon, external relations chief and oversee nine staff. The job focuses on media relations and government liaison. Quon replaces Karti Sandilya, who is transfering to the bank’s poverty reduction unit, a non-PR post.
