NEW YORK: Digital technology and advertising integration company

Everad is searching for a PR agency and is thought to be prepared to

spend up to pounds 25,000 per month on PR.

Everad, founder of the PlayJ music platform, designs and develops

systems to integrate advertising into music, software and other internet

media.

Director of corporate communications Michael Berkowitz, an Edelman and

Hill and Knowlton veteran who joined Everad last month from LA-based

venture capital fund Technology and Internet Capital, said that PR had

become a ’high priority’ for the company.

Everad had previously worked with Earle Palmer Brown for advertising and

a limited amount of PR. The relationship between the two companies ended

last month.

Berkowitz added that Everad would consider hiring more than one firm,

and that the appointed agency will boast web experience and media

contacts within the advertising and marketing communities. The target of

the PR effort will be 15- to 30-year-old members of ’generations X and

Y’.
