Hit or Miss? The Queen gets a presence on Facebook

'Friends' in high places It was announced on Monday that the Queen would be joining Facebook. However, far from being a personal site, the British Monarchy page will concern itself with official news and engagements. Officials said the Queen approved, but admitted that she has not used Facebook herself. More than 70,000 people 'liked' the page by Tuesday morning, while dozens of abusive comments were left by anti-monarchists.
