Webb previously held the position of director of comms at Polydor, which is part of the Universal Music Group.
In her new role, which begins with immediate effect, Webb will report to Universal Music UK chairman & CEO David Joseph.

Webb joined Universal in 1998 from having previous worked as editor of the music industry trade magazine Music Week.
Following Webb’s promotion, Polydor’s press department will be overseen by head of press Susie Ember.
