Kinross and Render’s marks reveal several areas of strength,
especially from the client point of view. Several clients said that the
agency felt like a part of their own team, and business understanding
was also highlighted.
The agency has lived up to its pitch promises in all areas, and Kinross
and Render was rated as being proactive in terms of generating
ideas.
Nuts and bolts scores were high across the board, especially for meeting
deadlines and keeping promises. The majority of clients felt performance
had improved, and all said they would be likely to reappoint.
Kinross and Render did not do so well on agency credentials. In
performance terms it had a very good year as fee income grew 31 per
cent. But fee income per head was relatively low and, as no business
strategy or mission statement was indicated, the agency lost marks for
business performance.
High staff turnover and a low level of spending on training meant a
lower than average staff score. The training programme appears to be
very thorough, however, and Kinross and Render has a high percentage of
staff with a CAM diploma. A multi-stranded marketing programme
contributed to a top mark for infrastructure. The agency is working
towards BS7750 accreditation.
