Grant Butler Coomber gained some stunning agency credentials marks,
and its business performance was excellent with strong pre-tax profit
margins, fee income growth and solid business strategies.
Top marks for staff and infrastructure were gained from high expenditure
on training, a range of staff benefits and an internal team dedicated to
marketing the agency. Quality systems were viewed favourably, with GBC
being one of the few agencies to offer everything but AVE measures as
part of its in-house evaluation programme.
It comes as no surprise that clients have good things to say about the
agency, with one saying: ’They have imagination and are capable of
turning a crisis situation into a manageable PR project.’ These positive
remarks are reflected in the client assessment where GBC scored very
well in the evaluation section.
Respondents felt the agency met set business objectives, gained good
quality and quantity of media coverage and evaluated its own work very
well. However, there were some criticisms about the amount of contact
with senior management.
Client satisfaction was high, with the majority feeling the agency
offered very good value for money and stating they would be likely to
reappoint it in the future.
