Independent PR agency network IPREX has announced plans for
aggressive Latin American expansion in 2000. This will be led by Mariana
Ferrari, recently promoted to vice-president for the region. She is also
the president of IPREX member Ferrari, Ruiz Guinazu and Asociados, a
newly formed PR agency with headquarters in Buenos Aires. Ferrari is
developing a campaign to raise awareness of IPREX among Latin America’s
corporate players. One aim is to attract more regional partners. ’We’re
already considering adding six new affiliates,’ Ferrari said, noting
these agencies are in the pre-qualifying process of becoming
full-fledged IPREX members.
