P&G appoints Hill & Knowlton for Olympics sponsorship activation

P&G has appointed Hill & Knowlton to handle its Olympics sponsorship activation programme in the UK.

P&G holds the rights to market more than 50 of its brands at the London 2012 Olympic Games. These brands will sponsor athletes and national teams in the build up to the games.

H&K will advise P&G on its corporate communications, provide sports marketing counsel, manage its social engagement campaign and work with the roster of P&G agencies in coordinating activation plans with P&G's top brands.
P&G states that it is ‘looking to build on the success of its Team USA partnership at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games’.
