Annabelle Fuller has left her role as media relations manager of ABF The Soldiers' Charity, to form her own agency, Athena PR. Athena will specialise in military charities and Fuller has already secured clients, including a new charity helping injured soldiers with mobility issues.

Beautiful World, the fundraising and comms agency, has been called in by homelessness charity Centrepoint to run its Christmas gifts appeal campaign. The agency is working alongside Bright One Communications, which is handling blogger outreach. Beautiful World will handle media relations and social media activity.

Fairfood International has launched an online viral video campaign aimed at getting people to think about how the food on their plates is sourced. Timed to coincide with World Food Day (16 October), the 'Face Your Food' campaign features people from across the world filming themselves eating, which is then played backwards.

The Geoff Thomas Foundation is staging a five-a-side football event to raise money to combat leukaemia. Regional heats start at Powerleague centres from 21 October, culminating in a Grand Final in Birmingham on 21 November and the chance to play a team of legends.
