MHP Communications, the new consultancy formed from the integration of Mandate, Hogarth and Penrose, has been appointed by the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland as its first retained PR and public affairs agency.
The Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland develops and promotes professional standards for bankers and provides professional qualifications for the financial services industry in the UK and overseas. MHP’s brief is to increase awareness and understanding of the institute - in particular its strong thought leadership role within the banking sector. The scope of work will focus on raising the organisation’s profile among media and political stakeholders and the wider policy and business communities in the UK. The MHP team will also work towards further promoting the values of what is the oldest banking institute in the world and the only remaining banking institute in the UK. MHP director June Deasy said: ‘We are delighted to be working with CIOBS. The banking sector continues to undergo enormous change and communicating CIOBS’ role in the transformation of the industry is a great opportunity for the team here at MHP.'
