CALIFORNIA: Subaru of America has lost 11-year company PR veteran
Richard Marshall to head PR for Silicon Graphics, the company best known
for computing equipment used to create special effects in hit movies
such as Jurassic Park. Marshall joins SG’s 15-strong PR staff this week,
assuming the title of director of global PR. ’I was looking for a new
challenge and was excited about what SG was going through,’ Marshall
said. SG has stumbled badly in recent years, reporting a pounds 40
million loss on sales of pounds 350 million in the last quarter.
