Richard Kanareck joins as London managing director next January, reporting to F-H regional president for UK, Africa and the Middle East, Kevin Bell. He leaves eBay at the end of the year.
F-H president and CEO Dave Senay said the appointment is a sign of the agency’s commitment to a ‘completely integrated global communications capability’.
Senay added: ‘He will bring his experience across the range of communications disciplines to drive true integration in our offering, and take Fleishman-Hillard London to the next level.’
Kanareck brings 15 years of senior communications expertise in consumer, corporate, business-to-business and digital. Before working at eBay, Kanareck worked at The Red Consultancy for nearly a decade.
Bell added: ‘Richard’s skills and experience will drive a step change in London.’
F-H's last UK MD was Lucien Vallun, who was promoted to the role of regional director for Central and Eastern Europe in January.
