Fleishman-Hillard Frankfurt has appointed Thomas Fuchs to the post
of deputy managing director with a remit to boost the agency’s financial
and corporate client base. Fuchs joins the agency on 1 August, from the
beleaguered German mining industry. He is currently a member of the
press and PR team at mining and environmental company Saarbergwerke,
where he specialised in crisis management. The company laid off more
than 1,000 staff last year after its subsidies were cut. Fuchs replaces
Jay White, who left F-H in April.
