PepsiCo has recruited Australian pop star Dannii Minogue to front
the UK relaunch of its Diet Pepsi brand. Minogue, although not appearing
in advertising, will personally front the ’hit squad’ sampling drive and
will appear on point-of-sale material. The taste of Diet Pepsi has been
reformulated in order to compete more effectively with the runaway
leader of diet colas, Diet Coke.
