out its own public relations.



The decision to take on PR support, believed to be causing controversy

internally, is being taken by marketing manager Mark Pinsent.



’When an international PR agency reaches the size and maturity that we

have, there might well be a case for taking on a PR agency,’ said

Pinsent.



’Agencies such as Eulogy have the specific marketing communications

experience that could be useful to us,’ he added.



Pinsent denied that taking on PR support would be a strange move for a

PR agency.



’We took a financial PR on when we floated so why not take on

specialised agency support? External input could give us a new

perspective on how we handle our own public relations,’ he said.



Other public relations agencies have taken on external consultants in

the past, although it is thought that none have actually gone as far as

appointing a whole agency.



Text 100 has aspirations to double the number of its international

offices to 20 following its February flotation.



The company intends to expand in Asia-Pacific and in the Far East.
