Bravissimo appoints Shiny Red for social media campaign

Bra retailer Bravissimo has appointed Shiny Red to lead its social media strategy and outreach.

The brand, which sells bras and swimwear in cup sizes D to KK and nightwear with integral support, wants to build deeper relationships with existing customers via its 7,000-strong Facebook group.

Bravissimo public relations manager Anna Prince said: ‘Social media are increasingly important for us. Our customers use them to tell us and each other what they think of our clothes, and it’s feeding directly into sales too, so we want to step up our activity.’

Bravissimo also plans to attract new shoppers through social networks, and forge relationships with online influencers including fashion and mum bloggers.

Shiny Red picked up the account following a three-way pitch and becomes the first social media agency to work with the brand.
