Opinion: From our Readers - Greenpeace hits back on rainforest issue

So Cohn & Wolfe boss Donna Imperato thinks Asian Pulp & Paper, one of the world's most notorious rainforest destroyers, has 'a great story to tell' (News, 1 October)?

It's not great if you're one of the people who depends on Indonesia's forests for your livelihood, or an endangered tiger whose last habitats are being destroyed, or one of the millions of people whose lives will be affected by climate change.

Are we safe to assume that Imperato has been out to Indonesia to witness the destruction wreaked by her client before making this claim? Heaven forbid that the Sinar Mas group would hire another PR company that knows nothing about sustainability and swallows the company line.
