The Ferrovial-owned airport operator has endured a tough few years, having sold Gatwick, ditched its Heathrow runway expansion plans and faced a downturn in air passenger numbers. Now the firm has pledged to get back on the front foot and will award the two-year account to one or two agencies.
The airport operator's director of comms Malcolm Robertson will lead the search, alongside director of policy and public affairs Nigel Milton.
Robertson is hoping to complete the pitch process by the end of the year, with the total pot for the work worth £400,000.
Finsbury has worked with BAA since September 2007. Mischief PR, which handles consumer work, is unaffected.
