Established 50 years ago, the Noise Abatement Society raises awareness of noise pollution and pollutants, and promotes solutions for improving the aural landscape.
Westgate Communications director Helen Westgate said: ‘The charity has a fantastic heritage of campaigning for people’s right to live in a positive soundscape, and we are looking forward to raising awareness of the issues surrounding noise pollution.’
Westgate’s appointment forms part of the charity’s strategy to help more people understand the issues surrounding noise pollution, and work closer with industry to develop innovative products and solutions for a quieter environment.
The agency’s creative arm, Westgate Design, has also been appointed to develop the charity’s website.
